The Non-Dual Gospel of Matthew: 10:21-22

10: 21-22

Brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death, and you will be hated by all for my name’s sake.

We cannot be unified
if the voices in our head
and this sticky emotional
mesh in our heart,
is forged by another.

We are conditioned beings;
we watch the faces, the gestures
and define our worthiness
based on pieces of paper,
the belt,
the legal-sounding media.

The secret is to let them deliver you over to death.
The whispered wisdom is to allow their hatred in
you stand perfectly alone
scoured and empty.

And in the cave of your heart,
something within you will
like a gem sparkling
in the outhouse.

For until you begin to see
that brother and child and parent
all rest in the same
single note of the cosmos
with you,
as you,
the you
you think you are

Take then,
for His sake
a different Name.
