Judge not, that you be not judged. For with judgment, you pronounce you will be judged and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.
We can only see the world
through the lens of our own minds.
The judgment we cast
rounds ever back like a boomerang—
we see only what we expect and are conditioned to see.
That judging mind shows us the limits within our selves,
our cyclops-nature, one-eyed
measuring everything in terms of right and wrong
this or that,
up and down.
When is anyone, anything, so simple
that we can paste on them labels
and think we have seen anything
And when do any of use have
such energy to waste
playing with such forms and masks?
